Our people truly are our most valuable commodity, and it’s thanks to every one of them, that CNC has been awarded the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation.

The IIP award is an international standard. It’s a people framework that helps a company understand how to lead, support and develop the team. It highlights what you do well as a business, it helps to unlock areas for improvement with personalised recommendations from the team.

At CNC we want our people to have a voice, to be considered, and to enjoy their work life. We are so lucky to have such motivated and engaged staff, which are both productive and high performing, and it’s thanks to every one of them that we passed with flying colours.

The sole reason we took the IIP accreditation was for an objective perspective on our values and culture. We engaged the IIP to help us identify our strengths and weaknesses and to help us to aim towards being the best we can be. The management team have always been very much hands-on, and we’re going to continue in that vein. Working all together as one at CNC has been at the core of our HR strategy – Employee first.

CNC started out just over 25 years ago from very small beginnings. We now employ more than 50 people across the UK. It has to be said, everyone has made a huge commitment to making CNC a better place to work, which is better for us, and better for our customers. A positive work environment is so important, and one that we have actively pursued. We are proud to say that everyone always gives their best, from the long-term employees to our youngest apprentice.

Moving forward, CNC will continue to build relationships with its employees, we’re always looking to make improvements, and listening to those invaluable insights will make CNC achieve our goal of growth and become an employer of choice.
