A Big Showing
Just one week into this new job at Mullen Lowe Group and the network is making me proud.
All told, we snagged 12 Pencils at The One Show. For those of you outside the ad business, this is one of the biggies, pretty close in class to Cannes. In fact, The One Show is a good barometer for work that is likely to win Lions in June.
GGH Lowe Hamburg had the biggest haul — five Pencils for the “Nazis against Nazis†campaign for EXIT-Deutschland.
Lowe Shanghai won two Gold Pencils with an intense piece they did for Buick showing the gruesome effect of reckless driving.
And my crew at Mullen Lowe U.S. continued on their roll with a Gold Pencil for American Greetings’ “World’s Toughest Job,†plus a Bronze Pencil for National Geographic Channel’s Live from Space website.
I was also happy to see Creative Director/Technologist Joe Palasek and Associate Creative Director Andrea Mileskiewicz pick up individual honors as rising stars. Joe has been killing it with his work for National Geographic Channel (Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus and Live from Space websites) and Andrea was one of the masterminds of “World’s Toughest Job.â€
Other parts of the global network scored too: 303Lowe Sydney with Budget Direct’s “Captain Risky†and LOLA Spain with Libero’s “If they explain it with football, you get it.â€
Great work around the world from our global creative boutique.
