Big Recruiting Realization

Big Recruiting Realization

How you present what makes your company so great is EVERYTHING.

I get it. You have carefully assembled the perfect tech stack that you feel REALLY solves some problems. There's no getting around that you're going to share the details.

Here's the normal data dump, "We use this, this, this, and this. We really like it."

Instead, here's a script you may adopt and alter:

"Nate, earlier you said having visibility around____ was super important to you. I was so excited to hear you say that, because that's exactly where our head was at when we developed____"

What I love about this approach is it shows:

  1. The concept of the tool
  2. The thought behind it
  3. The problem it solves
  4. You were listening
  5. We share a core belief

Nobody likes to feel like they were present for a canned presentation they could have very easily watched on a pre-recorded video.

As a candidate, when I'm continuously shown that what I said mattered and it played a part in the presentation, it'll be MUCH easier to see that we have a lot in common, my voice matters, and I might feel right at home at this company.
