Big Project ME January 2018. Edition - Al Hamra Marina Refurbishment - Interview with James Roy and Nikola Zutic

Recently, Al Hamra Marina has refurbished steel tubular piles inside of the marina. All piles have been sand blasted, coated and sleeved on site using an UHMW-PE Sleeves. UHMW-PE Sleeve is Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene sleeve.

Big Project ME has visit the site and had an interview with James Roy (Marina Manager at Al Hamra Marina & Yacht Club) and Nikola Zutic (Project Manager at Ecocoast Contracting) about the project and the new technic of pile sleeving that has been used on this project. Ecocoast Contracting LLC has been contracted by Al Hamra Real Estate Development to refurbish all piles in the marina recently.
