“333 retained or returned to NHSE due to the CEP program” came from the panel ‘Research, Education and the Workforce’. ?Dr Tamsin H. olland Brown Co-Clinical Lead on CEP and Hear Glue Ear chaired with Prof Ha Hoang on ‘finding the tribe’ and incorporating entrepreneurship into the NHS.? The conversation covered the many barriers and predictable outcomes.? The restrictions with the NHSE and ‘status quo’ barriers.? Prof. Hoang continued to share her personal research which came from?analysing the first two years of the CEP and Ashley McKimm of BMJ emboldened all that failures need to be published, so others don’t repeat the same mistakes. A great discussion that included Prof Roderick Watkins of Anglia Ruskin University and Dr. Navina Evans Chief Workforce , Training & Education Officer at NHS England
“…from Sperm to Worm…” was the life process quote that stuck, as the event was wrapped up by Vin Diwakar , who had been held up by the days' announcement by the UK Chancellor ST£3.4bn extra investment for NHS digitisation . ?Vin talked of the potential for AI and working with large data sets, unstructured data. Something InterSystems has spent its 46 years focused on as a foundation for our Health Partners.?? The focus on the patient that came through from the event certainly resonates with my #HeartOfHealth views.

The end of the evening was some great networking time and good to bump into a number of InterSystems UKI partners with Jon Payne and Chris Whittle
