The big picture for our lives

We will arrive at the wrong conclusion if we see ourselves according to the flesh (from the human point of view or in terms of the natural standards of value). Remember, we are not bodies although we have bodies. Therefore, the real you lives inside you!

Life is spiritual.

"So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now!" 2 Corinthians 5:16. When you seek to know yourself after the Spirit, you will be able to see God's big picture for your life & the lives of other people as God Himself sees. No wonder, many of the people whom God called did not see themselves as He did.

Moses could not picture himself as a deliverer; But Moses said to God, “Who am I?that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11

Gideon could not imagine being addressed as a mighty man of valor; When the angel of the?Lord?appeared to Gideon, he said, “The?Lord?is with you,?mighty warrior.” Judges 6:12

Jeremiah did not see himself as a prophet to the nations & Saul (converted to Paul) had never imagined he would be the author of a huge chunk of the New Testament.

Unfortunately, this is the case even today. Most people do not see themselves the way God sees them; they cannot visualize God's big picture for their lives.

Remember, God knew everything about you & planned for you before you came into being. He has the big picture of whom you are meant to be. Trust Him.

My frame was not hidden from you,
????when I was made?in the secret place,
????when I was woven together?in the depths of the earth.
?
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
????all the days ordained?for me were written in your book
????before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are your thoughts,?God!
????How vast is the sum of them!

Were I to count them,
????they would outnumber the grains of sand—
????when I awake,?I am still with you.
