I am a small business owner. I am also a mother, a wife, a friend, a sister, an aunty, a cousin, a mentor, a volunteer, a……etc. I wear many hats, but like you, I am a human being.
Small business owners are human beings who have experienced a range of life events that shape your behaviour, beliefs, reactions, and overall approach to life and business. The thoughts and emotions you carry, such as self-doubt, second-guessing decisions, or feeling inadequate, can have a huge impact on your business outcomes.
This is where, as a life coach, I support you. I do not pretend to be the expert in your business, because guess what? You are.
As a Certified Life Coach and qualified CPA, with an extensive corporate background I support you to rediscover your passion and purpose and true self. I assist you to redefine your boundaries and values, to build self-awareness of the blocks that hinder progress and provide support on how you can overcome them.

Starting out as an entrepreneur is like stepping into a mine field, except instead of bombs, you have self-proclaimed marketing experts yelling at you to "niche down" or else you'll fail faster than a cheetah chasing a sloth.
They want you to know your ideal customer better than they know themselves, down to what they have for breakfast. Like seriously, how am I supposed to know what Karen from accounting eats before work? But I tried to follow their advice, soaking up every free "how to find your niche" training like a sponge, only to end up more confused, overwhelmed, and fearful.
I finally found some relief in calling myself a Self-Love Coach, but apparently, that didn't sell according to the business coaches I worked with to help me build my business. So I changed my niche to Body Love, and then Relationships, but still no clients. It was like a game of niche roulette, and I was losing big time.
Eventually, I had enough and decided to let go.
Let go of the desperation to create a box for my coaching.
Let go of the fear of not finding THE NICHE.
Let go of the expectations that finding a niche would make life easier.

And then, when I least expected it, I had a shower thought. All of the tools I use as a coach could help women in the bedroom too! And just like that, I became Anna Thellmann "Your Relationship Mentor" , Sexual Intimacy Coach. It was like a golden cage had been opened, and I was finally free to be myself and help women get their orgasm back.
Who knew that finding your niche could be as easy as finding your orgasm?
Do you ‘Overthink’ and Procrastinate?
Overthinking can become an obstacle to success.
It can hold you back from making sound and productive decisions.
Einstein said. “We cannot solve problems with the same thinking we used to create them”
We don’t accept responsibility for our role in the creation or extension of our problems. We don’t take ownership and this can block our ability to resolve the issue. That is often when the ‘overthinking’ comes into it. We try to justify why we have chosen a certain path toward our desired outcome.
How often have you indulged yourself in overthinking a project or even a simple task? The path of procrastination. Many of us choose to participate in this time-wasting and frustrating behaviour without even consciously realising it.
Why is it that we second-guess ourselves?
Is it a need for perfectionism? Judgment around our results? Concern for what others think? Possibly all these things, but that uncertainty can really hold you back and stop the creative flow. Some amazing ideas and results have come from people making a start.
So, consider each time you procrastinate about making that final decision or taking that step forward. Consider what you and others may be missing out on. Let go of thinking that the time needs to be right, or you have to be certain that every detail is perfect.
Some of the most amazing inventions and breakthroughs humanity has achieved have been through taking that first step. Experimenting. Making a start.
Certainly, do your preparation, your research and put in the work needed but then move on it. Make it happen.

?? Clear and concise messaging. Your website should have a clear and concise message that explains what your business offers and how it can help potential customers. If a user comes to the site and is not able to clearly identify what it is you do on the first page, it is likely they may simply go back to their google search results and click the next link down. Don’t use too many words and utilise explanatory images and video if you can.
