When you’re building a healthcare business, you have to collect a lot of information. In other words, you spend tons of time learning new things that you can apply to your business.
Those things may relate to treatments that you can provide. Or you may gather information about how to build and market your practice.
However, there’s a big mistake that many people make when gathering information.
And I know what this mistake can lead to – because I used to make it all the time…
It’s gathering information without a purpose!
I’m all for gathering information so you can understand different aspects of your business. But you’ve got to go somewhere with it. The information you gather has to be stuff that you can take action on.
You can’t just collect information for the sake of it.
That’s what I used to do – and it was such a huge waste of time. I still have this database of information in my head that’s doing nothing for me or my clients. I don’t use it. I don’t need it. And yet I spent an enormous amount of time gathering it.
You don’t have time to waste on information that doesn’t directly benefit you or your practice.
That’s why I created the Healthcare Business Accelerator Program.
My goal as a coach is to provide you with access to the information you need to build a strong practice.
And to do that, I don’t just provide you with useful information. I cut through all of the noise… so that you don’t have to.
Think about this the next time you’re sitting at home reading about something new…
Ask yourself why you’re reading this piece of information. What purpose will it serve in your life or business? How can you use what you’re learning to take beneficial action?
If you can’t answer those questions, you’re probably not collecting the right information.
