I suffered a TBI, post-traumatic epilepsy, and too many other problems to name a few problems resulting from an auto accident in 2016. AHIA became a lifeline for me and my wife in early 2018. My wife had become my caregiver by white-knuckling her way through our new "normal". We were so grateful to have finally found the?support we received through this incredible organization. I found a community with other acquired brain injury survivors and she did I amongst the caregivers. We also were guided to essential resources that were so desperately, and much, much more. Now, it is Deb's privilege to serve as the President of AHIA's Board of Directors. What a tremendous organization to be a part of where we have found such help and comfort.
