• First, operators should open all betting markets as quickly as possible and provide the information on the odds boards and betting sheets for as many Super Bowl props as possible. This will help them maximize the event and ensure preparedness.?

• Make sure that the book is adequately staffed with enough ticket writers/ front-end employees to service the influx of patrons who will be wagering on the big game.??

• Whether you have a podcast, telecast, radio broadcast, giveaways, etc., keep the energy of the sportsbook fun!??

What is our average response time for inquiries during the Super Bowl? How will you handle the influx of live bets??

Response time is immediate. The IGT Trading room has increased staff on hand and expanded hours to accommodate the anticipated increase in customer requests. We also have assigned our most experienced traders to answer customer questions, which in turn, expedites all requests.??

What are some trends the trading team expects to see during this year’s Super Bowl???

A trend that we expect to see is more sophisticated and educated bets. Local sports networks have provided people with more education on sports betting, including mobile wagering. Players have a much better understanding of the bets surrounding the game, including prop wagers.??

Some prop wagers we expect to see include the first player to score a touchdown, safety, made two-point conversion, and if the game will go into over-time. In addition to prop bets, we also expect to see a lot of business on our new same-game parlay product. This wager allows the patron to wager on numerous props within the game.??
