Today, I thought about how you could help to promote indie authors, like myself, and how I could shamelessly advertise my most recent book,?The Calm Voice.

We’ll start with the shameless advertisement.

For those who have been reading my work for a while,?The Calm Voice?is an updated republication of I Am Calm Voice. It’s the story of a troubled young girl who embarks on a violent set of tasks, driven by a voice in her head. The story culminates in a tragic and shocking conclusion.

The reason I released?The Calm Voice?with a new title and some refined editing is because of my desire to transfer all of my works to paperback books.?The Calm Voice?is available in print and ebook formats.

Now, to how you can help promote indie authors. It’s quite simple.

Every time you purchase a book online, I ask you to leave a review at the site you bought it from.

It’s a strange thing to ask, I know. But, more reviews for books by indie authors means the higher up the search lists those books appear. In other words, popularity assists promotion.

Please take the time to promote your favourite books and authors by leaving reviews. A press on the rating (please give all of my work at least 5 stars) and a quick word or two about how outstanding the book is.
