Four Wins a Day
For Josh Halpern, Big Chicken franchises have to win. It’s a must. Their mission is to have four wins every day for each franchise. The guests, suppliers, franchisees, and Big Chicken all need daily wins for Halpern and company to remain atop the industry.
Shaquille O’Neal’s Authenticity
Shaquille O’Neal is Big Chicken’s largest stakeholder, but his humility is what makes Josh Halpern enjoy working with him. From random FaceTime calls to being known as family by Shaq’s mom, Lucille, Halpern sings the praises of O’Neal as a business partner.
A Maniacal Focus on Franchisees Unit Level Economics
To fight inflation, Josh Halpern believes that added value supersedes deep discounts, which would go against Big Chicken’s focus on their franchisees economics at the unit level.
