Big Changes in Canada Express Entry 2025

On February 27, 2025, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced major updates to Express Entry categories, introducing a new Education category, removing the Transport category, and expanding Healthcare to include Social Services occupations.

? STEM Category Adjustments – Several tech & engineering roles removed

These categories will receive higher priority for Invitations to Apply (ITA) in Express Entry draws.
