• Hovis – Endless

Hovis Ltd is a British company that produces flour and bread, and was first mass-produced in 1886. It became part of Rank Hovis McDougall in 1962 after a succession of mergers.

Endless is a British private equity firm. It is headquartered in Leeds, and also has an office in London. Endless has also invested in West Cornwall Pasty Company, Jones Bootmaker, Crown Paints, and Theo Fennell.

• Gymshark – General Atlantic

Gymshark, founded in 2012, is a British fitness apparel and accessories brand, manufacturer and retailer. Ben Francis is the majority owner of the company, and in 2020, the company was valued at over ï¿¡1 billion.

General Atlantic is an American growth equity firm providing capital and strategic support for global growth companies, headquartered in New York.

• Morrisons – CD&R

Morrisons is the fourth largest chain of supermarkets in the UK. Founded in 1899 by William Morrison, it began as an egg and butter stall in Bradford.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice is an American private equity company, and is one of the oldest private equity investment firms in the world.

• Asda – TDR

Asda is a British supermarket chain, headquartered in Leeds. The company was founded in 1949 when the Asquith family merged their retail business with the Associated Dairies company of Yorkshire.

TDR Capital is a British private equity firm headquartered in London, England, with over €10 billion of committed capital.

• Jacuzzi – InvestIndustrial

Jacuzzi Brands LLC, is a global manufacturer and distributor of branded baths, hot tubs, pools, saunas and, formerly, aircraft. Jacuzzi is a federally registered trademark of Jacuzzi Inc. as of 1978.

Investindustrial, founded in 1990, and with €11 billion of raised fund capital, is one of Europe’s leading independent investment groups focused on taking control positions in Southern European medium-sized companies that are leaders in their fields.

• The Six Nations – CVC Capital Partners

The Six Nations Championship is an annual international men’s rugby union competition between the teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales.

CVC Capital Partners is a British private equity and investment advisory firm with approximately $111 billion in secured commitments across European and Asian private equity, credit and growth funds.

• Aggreko – I Squared Capital | TDR

Aggreko plc is a supplier of temporary power generation equipment and temperature control equipment, headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland. It was listed on the London Stock Exchange until it was acquired by a consortium of TDR Capital and I Squared Capital in 2021.

I Squared Capital is a private equity firm focusing on global infrastructure investments. The company invests in energy, utilities, transport and telecom projects in North America, Europe and other high growth economies, such as India and China.

• AA – TowerBrook | Warburg Pincus

AA Limited is a British motoring association founded in 1905, which provides vehicle insurance, driving lessons, breakdown cover, loans, motoring advice, and road maps.

TowerBrook Capital Partners is an investment management firm headquartered in London and New York. TowerBrook, spun out of Soros Fund Management in 2005, became known for acquiring majority stakes in companies such as Jimmy Choo.

Warburg Pincus LLC, established in 1966, is a New York-based private equity firm with offices in the United States, Europe, Brazil, China, Southeast Asia and India.

• LV= – Bain Capital

Liverpool Victoria, trading since 2007 as LV=, is one of the UK’s largest insurance companies. It offers a range of insurance and retirement products.

Bain Capital is an American private investment firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. It specializes in private equity, venture capital, credit, public equity, impact investing, life sciences, and real estate.
