Watch out for these big brands in 2024, who will be celebrating big anniversaries. What will their marketing and PR departments have in store to mark the occasion?

1. Rubik's? Cube

Look who is 50! Some of you will be old enough to remember the arrival of the Rubik's? craze first time around.

Since then it has gone on to become one of the world's most iconic and longest lasting puzzles.

2. Adidas, Asics, Audi, Airbus and Amazon

Adidas are also celebrating a big birthday in 2024, they will be turning 75! Other notable A's are ASICS (Also 75), AUDI (115) and aerospace giants Airbus (55).

Can you believe that the global giant Amazon will be 30 next year? On one hand it seems like only yesterday that they started. On the other, what a phenomenon Jeff Bezos has created in such a short time.

Keen users of branded items, Amazon are a big buyer of promotional merchandise.

3. Cadbury

Cadbury was established way back in 1824. So they will be turning celebrating their 200th anniversary in 2024!

4. Danone, DELL and DHL

Isaac Carasso began to sell “Danone” yogurt to pharmacies in 1919, and so they will be turning 105 next year.

Computing giant DELL will be celebrating their 40th year and DHL, 55th year.

5. Ernst & Young, FIAT and Exxon Mobil

UK based consultants EY will be 35 in '24, where as Italian icon FIAT will be celebrating 125 years.

Also 125 next year is the global oil business Exxon Mobil.

US clothes giant GAP will be 55 (which may tip you over the top if you were not feeling old enough already!).

6. Harrods, HP Computing, Hugo Boss

Knightbridge's famous store racks up an impressive 190 years in 2024, winning second prize on this longest established brand in this list.

Not quite at those heights are HP computing, with an impressive 85 years, and Hugo Boss will be 100!

7. Lloyds, M&S, Michelin, Morgan Stanley, Nike and Pfizer

Although originally founded in 1765, the Lloyds banking group we know today will be 15 in 2024.

M&S on the other hand will be celebrating 140 years on the British high street.

Others include Michelin (135), Morgan Stanley (100), Nike (60) and Pfizer (175).

8. Shroders, Tesco, Unilever, Virgin Atlantic, Vodaphone

Shroders asset management clock up the most years in this list at 220! Tesco do almost half that with 105 years, then Unilever with 95.

Virgin Atlantic and Vodaphone seem like new comers, both will be celebrating their 40th anniversaries next year.
