New York City, one the world’s five most visited destinations, is horribly quiet and silent due to COVID-19. We, residents of the Big Apple, feel sad to see such a dynamic and vibrant city going inaudible and still, all of a sudden. Flight cancellations have led to lowest occupancy in City hotels and to empty tables at most restaurants, including the highly popular dining venues that are usually the hardest to book. Many restaurants of that caliber have chosen to temporarily close down. Several museums have decided to shut their doors and are offering virtual instead of live tours. With the exception of very few, the city's landmarks and points of interest have also chosen to close due to a revenue, currently too low to cover even the minimal expenses. It is obvious that our city, like many other major cities in the world, is economically hit at a high level. Yet, we keep positive and admit that health and safety - our own and that of our visitors - present the highest priority under any circumstances. Keep safe and help others to do so, as well! Salam Min New York City.
Hi dear Noureddine, We, all of us, are? enable? to describe our fear, but we have to remain positive and pray. Fi amani Allah.?
