A big AI launch and other content

A big AI launch and other content

Another exciting few weeks and huge announcement in the Canadian immigration tech scene to review. Lots to discuss.

Let's jump in:

Canada's first immigration AI assistant

As many of you know, our startup Visto.ai focuses on building the latest and greatest technology to help Canadian immigration professionals prep and file applications faster than ever.

This past week we took another huge step by launching VistoBot: Canada's first immigration AI assistant. Imagine ChatGPT and IRCC meet at a bar and form a loving relationship like no other.

That's VistoBot, the first AI chatbot trained exclusively on IRCC information and constantly improving from the feedback of regulated immigration lawyers/consultants that use it.

I biasely think it's a total game-changer, because just as ChatGPT and other forms of AI have started revolutionizing certain industries, VistoBot and our other AI features are changing the way immigration professionals practice in Canada...

For more info and a video of me showing it off, check out my LinkedIn post here.

Other immigration content

I've been on a content creation spree in the last week or two and covered a lot of ground, including:

  • the Visto Show on Friday where I did a deep dive on the recent Express Entry draws and also gave a preview of how VistoBot works and how firms are already using it to save time on research, writing and more
  • ever wonder why Quebec has their own immigration department and is so different from the rest of the country? Me too, that's why I had Cécile Lécollier on the latest episode of the Canadian Immigration Pros podcast to discuss what Quebec immigration is, why it's different from every other province/territory, what is MIFI and a lot more.
  • I've noticed a shortage of practical, applicable advice for immigration professionals on how to leverage AI in-house to improve and grow a firm in Canada, so Olena Weber and I teamed up for a webinar last week: "AI Tools for your Immigration Business". I'll be sharing some key takeaways next week and based on the positive feedback, doing a lot more of them in the future!

The rest

That's been it for me recently: immigration, immigration and a little bit more immigration! Stay tuned for more big tech updates and launches that we have coming at Visto, and if you want to follow more of my business stories and lessons as a tech cofounder in Canada, definitely make sure you're on my Substack too (tomorrow's post discusses a key lesson of mine from many product launches).

Have a great week,

Keep up the good work Josh! I'd suggest your Vistobot and Immigratic's NOC-Navigator GPT meet at a bar. The outcome would be stunning ?? . https://chat.openai.com/g/g-uP72nmgDT-noc-navigator
