Bidding Farewell to our Old Office: A Walk Down Through our Memory Lane

Our 3 years long journey from when we started off as an idea to now when we have become a million dollar revenue generating business, has been full of pleasant surprises and roller coaster-like ups and downs.

When I look back to the time that flew by, this is what I see

One worked up an afternoon, I and three of my friends took each other up on a conference call. After sharing the highs and lows of the life so far, we said each other, almost in sync, “let’s leave our day jobs and take our skills to create our corporate corner that would scream innovation and growth”.

With the intention to take a new turn from our mundane lives, in mind, we planned to meet at our retreat, which at that point, we didn’t know was going to become a lot more than that.

The brand’s tagline - a lot can happen over coffee, became our reality. For it was in that one CCD outlet that we certained to leave our corporate jobs and concentrate on the future that we had planned for ourselves – Opening a company of our own.

After dedicating the café as our workstation for the months that followed, we then shifted to a much cosily equipped workplace, also the house of one of my Co-founder.

We made the major portion of our wintertime about cracking deals and sipping coffee.

It was somewhere between the café and this antiquated office space that we collected enough money to move on to a fresh workspace.

After number of open houses, we stopped counting after 20 visits, we crossed paths with a beauty. It was strategically located, gave the freedom to rework from scratch, and was so high floor wise and not so low, it was simply ideal. Above everything else, it was the vibes that made us settle on this space.

The move became the next chapter in the story of our journey.

We finalized the space. Next, it was time to pull up our socks and bring it into workable condition.

After settling on everything from carpet to the faucet, it was time to add life to space. So, next came the people who then played the major protagonists in the Appinventiv story.

Here is what we looked like when we moved into the office.

And soon, the seats started getting filled and the systems kept being installed.

This continued till we became a team of 200 people who loved…

Soon the tales of how we legit work like horses and party like wolves spread like inferno and applicants started calling in to get a chance to become a member of Appinventiv family.

So this way, our family grew and..

We partied more

Went on another trip to another mountain, together

And I was having a time of my life with my extended family, when I, with the support of every single one of the 200 people, closed some major deals and led us to become the mobility partners for startups and large enterprises across the globe.

Between pasting wireframes and partying, we partnered with Google as their Developer Agency Member

And got acknowledged by Clutch as their Top App Development Agency

With life giving us so many reasons to cherish and ceremonialize, we went on to enjoy a number of festivals.

To Christmas

The stories of our success and celebrations now reached across cities

We kept getting attention from prospective clients and candidates.

That eventually, we outgrew the space we started Appinventiv with :(

Without us realizing, in just 2 years, the original close group of few became that of 13 then 200 and now 300.

From a team of 4 to a group of 300 to having 5 apps in our kitty to 350 apps in portfolio, we became -

The startup that made revenue in Million valuation, in just the first year of its establishment.

And earned us a partnership with a few of the biggest names across all industries – Sony BMG,  Tech Mahindra, Merck, The New Digital, TechCrunch, The Economic Times, Dainik Bhaskar, and a lot more.

Even though we achieved a lot in this less time, we still have an exciting journey ahead in becoming world most preferred technology company.

We took another sharp cut, which we saw coming towards us for quite some time. It is on us now. Want to know what that is?
