V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking a BI/Database Analyst for our premier client in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a contract position in telecommunication industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?
- Aside from the Job Description the top skill sets that we are going to be looking for familiarity with are:
- Rosetta/NDW
- MELD
- Nat Subscriber Daily (NSD)
- Essbase would also be a huge plus but not priority
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage business intelligence solutions using data from various data sources.
- Build and oversee clean datasets drawing from multiple disparate databases and tables using SQL adhoc queries and stored procedures
- Independently seek and determine locations and definitions of existing data (requires proactive collaboration and communication with multiple business units and SMEs throughout the organization)
- Maintain a working knowledge of multiple evolving data repositories within the organization
- Maintain data dictionary and process documentation
- Develop lists, reports and tables for use in ongoing analysis
- Run data analyses on customer and prospect data to support research insights and business strategy
