Prayer for the Lord’s Blessing upon the Sanctuary.

1?Remember, Lord, in David’s behalf,

All a his affliction;

2?How he swore to the Lord

And vowed to a the Mighty One of Jacob,

3?“I certainly will not 1 enter a my house,

Nor 2 lie on my bed;

4?I will not a give sleep to my eyes

Or slumber to my eyelids,

5?Until I find a a place for the Lord,

9?May Your priests be a clothed with righteousness,

Revelation From God

Author

All of The authors of the Psalms are unknown, we know that Moses wrote (13), Aaron wrote (4) David (73), Solomon (2), the sons of Korah (11, including one to which the name of Heman is also attached), Asaph (12), and Ethan (1) it is possible that others also wrote some of the Psalms, as well!!!!

The Author of Ps 132 is unknown, but it would appear to be post exile, perhaps either Ezra or Nehemiah?

Date

The date of the Psalms covers from the Exodus, roughly 1300 BC through the return of the exiles, 586ish some 800 years.

History

Application

YHWH, I Declare You as my God, my Savior, My Creator, My Father who art in Heaven Holy be Your Name, I confess my sins to You Lord that I may be saved and redeemed by he precious blood of Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit is my Paraclete, that I may dwell in the House the Lord, His Body for all eternity.
