THE BIBLE IS GOD’S LOVE LETTER TO US WHILE PRAYER, IS THE DEVICE THROUGH WHICH WE COMMUNICATE WITH HIM!

The passage, ‘I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you’ (Psalm 119:11 NIV), reminds us that, just as astronauts soon find out, it is difficult to maintain a proper orbit in space because there is no resistance in space and to maintain proper orbit, onboard computers constantly make course and altitude corrections using small rockets to make minute adjustments and larger jets for major ones. In other words, if these rockets fail to fire consistently and at the right time, the space vehicle could veer from its orbit, go tumbling into outer space or come crashing down to Earth. So let the knowledge that: 1) Left to our own devices, we would veer out of our spiritual orbit into lukewarmness, indifference, sin and rebellion; 2) It takes continuous and consistent study of God’s Word and prayer to prevent our lives from spinning out of spiritual control; and 3) The Bible is His love letter to us while prayer, is the device through which we communicate with Him; teach you, in order to stay on course, to always pray before you read His Word and thereafter, ask for help to ?understand and apply what you have learnt!FG. www.femigee.com
