I never thought I'd start an article with a headline like that, especially emphasizing it with an exclamation point. But the jubilance is real.
In preparation for an upcoming webinar on AI in Telehealth, I put on my policy hat this week and updated a milestone document for myself.
I completed my first update of my personal Guidelines for Responsible AI in Business, published on my site and available next to my Privacy Policy. I published the first version back in March. Part of my commitment in putting it out there is keeping it up to date.
One of the things that surprised me was in the first version, I listed 15 total AI powered tools I was testing or using. Now in October of the same year, it's up to 27 and I've thought of a few more I need to add.

The other thing I've noticed is that personally, I feel like my productivity and output has doubled or better. I'm tackling more complex projects, getting pulled into new directions like animation and video, and still improving on my core skills.
I have a feeling by the next update, I'll be ready to remove AI from the title and description and broaden it to represent my operating model. A number of colleagues and myself are in the phase of talking about software and tools again, trying to reinforce AI has been here all along. It's just more present and hyped up to be here.
My question for you, does your company have Guidelines for how you're supposed to use AI or other advanced data systems? Are you using tools like ChatGPT or Claude at work today?
Let me know in the comments. I'd love to use a small sample from LI as an example for the webinar attendees.
