Bharat must have A Future Combat Vehicle Carrier (FCVCs) for Indian Navy ?

Dear Friends,

It is my duty that I put up my concept of Future Combat Vehicle Carrier (FCVCs) and it is Naval carrier rather than an Aircraft Carrier it is a floating dock that carry Drones or UAVs of both types that are fitted with all kind of weapons and another one having a role for Reconnaissance and Surveillance only that could be docked on Flight Deck as well as in 02 docks down below. It must have a Deck dedicated below 02 decks below Flight Deck that have provision of launching ASVs(Autonomous Submerged Vehicles or Autonomous Underwater Vehicles( AUVs), all types of torpedo tubes, launching of Autonomous Robotic Submarines(ARSs) & Autonomous Robotic Surface Vehicles(ARSVs) to clear mines as well as attack. A FCVC must have a deployment of all kind of Integrated Missiles Launch Platforms( IMLPs) and also Helicopters. It must have Hover Crafts as well that could be used as landing craft as well as Surface Surveillance & Intelligence Gathering(SSIG). So, this kind of FCVCs shall have Nuclear Propulsion in order to meet the propulsion as well as feeding all kind of launching platforms.

The FCVCs must have Laser or Energy Guided Plate forms as well so that it become a composite future ready platform that have all kinds of weapon system to safe guard itself as well as attack all kind of plate forms. Some one may argue that why it should not have VTOL Aircrafts as well so I would like to say why not but my recommendations are that we must have cost as low as possible but to have a Holistic Floating Weapon Platform that could be used for defense as well as to launch any kind of attack that may provide stealth, surprise, scale, & substantial damage. To manage smooth command & control during simultaneous launch of operations and for an effective & precise hits an AI Driven Centralized or An Integrated Command & Control Centre is needed onboard that will also be integrated with Theatre Command. Such kind of Drone Carrier could be positioned one at Western Fleet, Eastern Fleet, North Theater Command and Port Blair based Command and having 01 under refit.

The Indian Navy Naval Design Department / Cell is capable enough along with Defense Shipyards to come out a design that could design, develop and manufacture such a platform at least 05in number and this kind of 05 platform could be produced in a cost of 01 Aircraft Carrier or may be slightly more.
