Bhagat Singh inspires us to be Resilient
On February 7th, 2023, the University of Delhi & Samarth Bharat celebrated its centenary year alongside the 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebration and launched their Career Development Centre( CDC).This was an initiative by Bhaorao Deoras Sewa Nyas. Abhishek, our founder, was invited to speak to the students about advancing their careers while being responsible citizens of India.
As part of the CDC launch the VC of DU took all the dignitaries and showed the room of Bhagat Singh. Abhishek availed this opportunity and paid tribute to Bhagat Singh and saw the chamber where the latter was once imprisoned. Located in the basement of the Viceregal Lodge, Abhishek considered this visit as the "highlight of his trip."
The Shaheed Bhagat Singh Smarak was inaugurated in 2021 to keep patriotic fervor alive in the minds of students. Walking through the Smarak, Abhishek found Bhagat Singh's bed, a room without windows, and a tunnel below the bed that was once used to bring Bhagat Singh to the assembly from that route. "I had goosebumps all over," expressed Abhishek.
Abhishek shares? “ I also saw a book which has pictures of the diary Bhagat Singh maintained while in jail. Amazing English and amazing cursive handwriting and one person remarked that his handwriting didn’t show any deterioration depicting any kind of fear or anxiety till the very end.”? which clearly portrays how resilient he was.
