BGO Inspired donates additional humanitarian assistance to Israel and Gaza to care for children impacted by the war

In the weeks following our first message of care for our employees and our desire to deliver urgent support for innocent civilians in Israel and Gaza, the resounding sentiment from across BGO has been one of deep concern and sadness for impacted children in the region.

I'm sharing with you the latest message that we delivered to our employees and a further commitment by BGO Inspired, our firm's global philanthropic program, to put our resources to urgent use for the sake of countless children and young people contending with the physical, emotional, and psychological scars of war.

The escalation of the violence in Israel and Gaza continues to be front and center on our minds and in our hearts. Many of you have taken the time to reach out and express your grief and feelings, as well as your own connections to the region that have weighed heavily on you during this distressing time.

The plight of children and young people have been especially heart wrenching to witness, and with each loss of life, the tragedy of this war compounds. Children, the most innocent and vulnerable of civilians, are experiencing unacceptable hardship and this is where BGO Inspired, on behalf of all of us, will be focusing its next round of charitable donations:

Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) : in support of their urgent work on the ground to provide crucial and life-saving medical relief and humanitarian care for over 1 million children in Gaza.

IsraAID : to contribute towards urgent humanitarian activities, housing for evacuees, and the establishment and safeguard of childcare centers for displaced children and their families.

Kav Lachayim - ?? ????? : to bridge critical gaps in funding for children with severe illness and complex special needs by providing access to medical staff and programming essential to their treatment.

Our BGO Culture Code emphasizes the importance of supporting one another to win, but that togetherness takes on new meaning in times of difficulty where unity is needed to combat division.

These donations are an expression of the DO THE RIGHT THING spirit that defines the culture we want to live up to at BGO, and is affirmed by the action we are taking today to extend humanitarian assistance to all children at risk.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with all who have been impacted and we continue to hope for a swift end to the violence.
