NEWS?
Here are the news highlights from April 2023 that stood out for us:
The future just got more exciting!
INSPIRATION:
Our inspiration this month comes not from our members, but rather from our team-mate Ravikant Reddy, aka DJ Ravi, a technician at 2gethr.?
Juggling two lives and prospering in both of them, Ravi proves that hard work definitely pays off in the end.?
“Everyone should have one hobby and one source of income, and both of them should not be the same.”
Having a hobby that is not monetized incentivizes us to enjoy the activity. Hobbies act as great stress relievers and help promote productivity, creativity, and problem-solving ability, and most importantly makes you more interesting to people you meet.?
You can read more about his journey and story here .
FACT:
“Biophilic design elements like plants, natural materials, and views of nature reduce stress and enhance cognitive performance”
Source: Biophilic Design: The Theory, Science and Practice of Bringing Buildings to Life? - authored by Judith Heerwagen , Martin Mador, and Stephen R. Kellert
At 2gethr, whenever we design any workspace, incorporating these core elements of biophilic design is a foundational step.
Just take the example of 2gethr @ ORR, the community area which houses the community bar, pantry, amphitheater, and rejuvenation area lies perpendicular to two sets of windows opposing each other. The windows outside overlook greenery, but greenery doesn’t stop at the windows. Nature really takes over the space with real plants all over this space. All the furniture present is made from recycled wood with a water-based natural polish giving them the classy sheen that natural materials have.?
And this is not an isolated design choice. All our projects, including the Samsung Electro-Mechanics India headquarters, Tekion Corp Bengaluru office, and Diligent India Headquarters have been designed and built in a way that biophilic elements shine through.?

Tips 4 YOU:?
YOU are the most essential part of your life and this newsletter, and we couldn’t be more proud of everything you have achieved. For this edition of the newsletter, we are breaking down one of the most under-rated productivity hacks called the Pomodoro technique:-
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It's designed to improve focus, productivity, and efficiency by breaking work into intervals called "Pomodoros." Here's how it works:
The way the Pomodoro technique works is that the time constraint of each Pomodoro creates a sense of urgency, helping you maintain focus. The short breaks act as rewards for completing the Pomodoro, and provide you with an opportunity to recharge and avoid burnout.?
The idea behind the Pomodoro Technique is that the time constraint of each Pomodoro creates a sense of urgency, helping to maintain focus and prevent burnout. The short breaks act as a reward for completing a Pomodoro and provide an opportunity to recharge before the next one.
