The American Hospital Association has reported numerous members have dropped Mapd plans, or are considering dropping them. Scripps, Baptist Medical Group in Louisville Ky., the home of Humana, among many others. Very well stated. We need to recognize that there are many consumers that will make a decision that a Medicare supplement plan fits their long term needs. Agents that have balanced sales between Medicare supplement sales and Medicare advantage, show that they are doing fact finding. Companies that show balanced sales between the two products, have an edge on the competitors.
