Beyond Potential: Unlocking People Potential Issue 4
Welcome to the next edition of Unlocking People Performance. Today I am focusing on one of my newer ventures, the 'Beyond Potential' Podcast. Plus, we have some exciting events planned over the next few months, more on that below.
Tom?and I have now done over 10 episodes of our podcast,?Beyond Potential.
Neither of us had ever done a podcast before, and we didn’t know what to expect.
It has completely surpassed my expectations. Having the opportunity to spend time with an expert like Tom and talk about subjects we’re both interested in, and discuss insights from such interesting guests, is pure joy.
If you haven’t listened to it, I hope you’ll give it a try. We have lots more great episodes and guests coming up, so watch this space.

S1 E9: Coaching, mentoring, or a bit of both - the Toms discuss
In our latest Toms Talk episode, we explore a subject that's close to our hearts and the age-old question of whether we should be coaching, mentoring or doing a bit both?
As professional coaches, Tom and I often reflect on our approach with clients. Do we always stick strictly to coaching, or do we sometimes venture into mentoring, and is that acceptable?
We also talk about our early experiences as coaches and the questions we would consider if we were in search of a coach ourselves.

The next instalment in our CHRO series is coming soon
Before starting my own business, I spent several years as a CHRO in an ambitious plc. I therefore understand too well the challenges of the role. It’s about much more than just supporting the CEO—and for most CHROs it's about making a tangible and positive impact within your organisation.
To share my experience and provide insights into how you can emerge as the influential enterprising leader you deserve to be I will be delivering a series of webinars on topics that align with my CHRO Impact Framework. In the first instalment, on LinkedIn Live, I shared new ways of working and navigating the discomfort that comes with change. As the first session in the series I will be running, you can catch up on this instalment now.
Stay tuned for the next instalment, where I will be looking at 'The core mindset of great CHROs – being?purposeful and always learning', coming in September. Watch this space for more updates or sign up for my email newsletter, where you will also receive a free copy of my 'Lead with Intent Guide'.
