I'm going to share a principle I've lived by as a technical architect for the past 14 years.
What really matters
Personally, I believe we need to empathize more with our clients and improve the way we communicate with them. It's crucial to draw a clear path to their desired situation, making them aware that we have a plan and a defined strategy and that everything controllable is studied and planned in advance, so they feel safe and confident with us because we will avoid problems for them.

The sad reality
It's a shame to see how clients view architectural and construction services as something vague, full of complexity, misunderstandings, and confusion. These are the three most recurring causes I've observed. Clients do not conceive that there can be a concrete structure, a defined timeline, and a fixed budget from the start that they can rely on. They embark on a construction adventure from a state of continuous stress and uncertainty, usually thinking that starting and getting involved in a construction project is a hassle because they know they will encounter a thousand problems, a hundred incompetent professionals, and five hundred unforeseen issues.
