BEYOND PHYSICS
The nature of reality has always fascinated me. While some don’t believe it should be questioned but merely accepted, I find it too delicious to ignore. The cosmic questions, who are we, why are we here, how did we get here, what are we supposed to be doing here, what is the Universe made up of, why and how does it change, have to be in every thinking person’s mind.
??Fortunately, I keep coming across books which give insights into how to think about these questions. If you believe that the Universe is deliberate and focused then it’s no mystery that I keep finding the right books at the right time. I’ve found them in thrift stores, or in a mention by someone at just the right time, but come to me they will.
??Right now, I’m reading about Laminated Spacetime Reality in a book by Barbara Dewey. It makes perfect sense and goes beyond what physics has come up with to explain the Universe, but does fits with Einstein’s insights to a very but not exact degree.
?The underlying reason for my quest is an idea I hold, that we should not live our life blindly, never questioning, just believing what’s taught to us. I believe it’s important to have insight into the cosmic questions. Our insights might not look like anyone else’s but they are ours to have. To accept unquestioningly what someone else believes is to never use the gifts that we have been given for understanding and insight.
??The physical and non-physical universes are related, but not in the way we are taught. Everything comes from non-physical to physical. So, what we perceive, what we focus on, how we think are all critical to the kind of life we experience. We have much more impact on our life and what we create in it than we have been led to believe. We are definitely, not sheep following along. We are constantly creating and we have the ability to change what that is. We can create what everyone else is creating if we don’t think about it and just follow along, or we can create what we know is in us to create and what will bring joy and aliveness to us. But that requires consciousness and awareness, which only come from deliberate thought. Some don’t want to be bothered and that is their right. But for me, I cannot envision living a life without questions to be answered by a growing awareness and the ability to keep updating, expanding and growing what I perceive.
