Agree it isn’t at all just down to Prabhakar Raghavan, there’s way more to it, I don’t think it’s personal (which is how it sounds when one name is being used like this), it’s clearly his goal to reduce costs & lose skill sets from the organisation, it’s tacky management to choose this type of profitability drive. I do agree that Google as an entity has chosen to become less transparent & allow itself to be dominated by search engine optimised aggregators, advertising & spam.
