Beyond the Internship: Adam's Journey!
CashmanKatz
We help brands succeed by connecting with consumers in new and surprising ways.
Going into my senior year at the University of Rhode Island, I wanted a taste of “real-world” experience. I found that this summer at CashmanKatz. After working and reflecting upon my time at the multimodal communications firm, I can only thank all of the staff especially Amanda Mueller , Julie Nicholson , Tony Cashman , Eric Cavoli , and Gianna D'Amato for allowing me to flourish, expand my knowledge, and call CashmanKatz home for a summer. CashmanKatz is not just a creative advertising agency, it is the creative advertising agency.
By fostering a community of creativity, personality, and camaraderie, interns like me can get so much out of their time here. This is because of the trust and responsibility CK gives to its interns. I cannot recommend this company enough to others looking for public relations and social media/marketing internships.
During my short time here I was entrusted with real work that clients see and share. This consisted of, social media write-ups, posts, videos, and press releases. The team aided and evolved my Photoshop and video editing skills. While each department can co-exist individually, they all come together in one creative and integrated melting pot that makes CashmanKatz what it is. Teamwork, collaboration, and trust are the foundation of this company from the interns to the CEO. Their octagration is achieved by their dedication to each other and it was a complete honor to be a part of this team.
I am fully grateful for my experience with CashmanKatz. I refined and continued to expand my knowledge in the communications, media, and marketing fields. I look forward to building upon these in the future.
