Beyond each New Relationship is an Opportunity!

Have you ever tried to understand? An extensive array of opportunities always kept knocking at our doors at different points of time. The ones we were successfully able to identify had created tremendous impact on ours and the lives of others connected to us.

Can you recall we used to be more open minded when we started? In the earlier days when we were eager for the opportunities! But now we maybe risking that trait fade with time.

For instance, the choices of:

• How much effort to put at our studies at school, university and profession or business,
• Choosing our country of residence,
• Selecting a life partner,
• The quality of goods and services business that we deliver,

are to mention just a few.

Many are of the same opinion that the opportunity that we were seeking is also seeking us. Most may also agree the numerous times times an opportunity was overlooked, may be because we were too occupied to ourselves. And we were too comfortable on the same seat, gladly taking the discomfort of lost chances, gone unnoticed.

The opportunity we seek is also seeking us!

I am a believer that opportunity is a number game which I can totally correlate to my profession. As many as doors we open, we create the more lucrative choices. The whole process then gets reasserting.

A Rare Experience:

And interestingly enough, each time, such life changing circumstances were brought to me by knowing more people. People who were total strangers. Let me close by sharing a professional experience.

I once reached a prospect who was in the market for a financial product. Coincidently, we happened to connect over a cold call. Further to a few meetings we concluded business in a very short TAT. I was fortunate enough to witness the couple leaving my office exchanging a Hi 5 to each other. They made my day too! And now we have a lifetime relationship already built. Beautiful.

Rewinding to the cold call - each second was excruciating. Yes, funny enough, reading, dialing, saying "hello" and all of it. But if I had not done it, I don't have the previous paragraph. What a missing in life!
