Beyond Comfort: Passion to Transition
"Following Your Passion" is dead. Replace it.
When someone in your life is asking the important “What should I do with my life?” question - have you ever told them “Just follow your passion”? If so, please stop doing that. Yes, completely, and forever. This advice is pervasive in parts of our culture that value short-term emotional comfort above other mental states.?Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new or work on developing your passion.
Take responsibility for your life, unexpected events unfold and lead you to awaken your inherent wisdom. At a level you must be willing to step out of your comfort zone and meet life with passion and fervor. At the first at least suspect from where you stand. You may be sick and tired of being in rut. Feeling uninspired — emotionally drained and lacking direction. Don’t despair since you may simply be experiencing an internal shift.
Like any journey, the intention to reach one’s destination is typically presented by a goal or a plan, though you may not anticipate the rough waters ahead. That is, you might have to sail your boat in uncharted waters to reach your destination.
Life’s journey is filled with countless lessons, which many fail to concede when embroiled in their drama.
?“Get out of that comfortable rut.”
?Dealing with uncertainty and change can be debilitating in terms of your imposed stress, yet seemingly to live a compelling future requires stepping out of the familiar to reach new horizons. Develop a typical & stronger desire for change as the comfort you feel, the more you are unaware of transition in new horizon.
Your response to life’s uncertainties determines your level of inner growth, especially when the tides are against you.
For example, entrepreneurs require confidence to never give up on their plan or vision, since the economic forces are constantly against them. There must be an inherent self-belief, an unyielding motivation, and a desire to prevail.
I encourage you to adopt a similar quality in your pursuit to step out of your comfort zone. Do not rest on your laurels since it is easy — remember, easy is not where the fruit of your success lies.

Fix the lifestyle, then work backwards: Once the basics have been taken care of, create a plan for your life?that will maximize your feeling of purpose and wellbeing. Part of it will be to develop a rare and valuable skill through deliberate practice and to match demand and supply through constant iteration and trial and error.
Assess your strengths:?Are you good or can you develop skills in something that can meet that demand? This is where passion, talent, your interests DO play a role. Whatever is easy for you that most others have a harder time with, that’s a worthy option: If you’ve excelled at organizing events, there’s a hint. If you’ve been coding since age 12, there’s a hint. The cardinal sin of the passion principle is that it ONLY considers this point, without ever taking Step 1 and 3. And that’s how philosophy graduates end up working in call centers.
If you have a passion than ready your finances: If the alternative is borrowing from your parents beyond age 24 or having your family living on money plant than screw your passion. Don’t wait for chasing rainbows in summer, dig the well & get your income first. Dreamer should have their own eyes n unconscious mind to dream n recall to fulfill.
Breakthrough a glass ceiling to create a new way of life. ?Push through your comfort zone, you do not want to make it a constant quest.
