Beyond the Classroom: DNA Micro Welcomes NDKC CECE Students for Educational Tour

CEBU CITY – March 6, 2024, marked an insightful educational tour hosted by DNA Micro Software Inc., welcoming 21 students specializing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and Electronics Engineering. In attendance were the esteemed College Dean and a dedicated faculty member from Notre Dame of Kidapawan College (NDKC) College of Engineering and Computer Education (CECE).

As the first university to visit DNA Micro this year, NDKC aims to prepare students to face the intricacies of their respective professions by exposing them to diverse learning experiences and cultures, technological advancements, company operations, and software development, and communication media used in the industry.

Headed by their esteemed College Dean, Ms. Fatima Zarsa and Krizza Mae Montalban , Beah Kharmelette Abella, RPm , and Roy Joseph A. from DNA Micro, the educational tour started with the work immersion proper where students interacted with the different DNA Micro teams. Students were encouraged to ask questions, especially those that are related to software development.

After the immersion, Software Engineers Bryan Jay Mabuan and Jason A. discussed the DNA Training Curriculum that covered JavaScript, NodeJS, TypeScript, and ReactJS. A short Q & A session followed right after the discussion.

In the end, the students were very eager to learn and understand the concepts of software development and the latest trends in programming languages, and how they can improve their skills to meet the demands of the industry.
