Beyond the Casket: Exploring Diverse Options for Your Final Journey...and there are many
Lisa Strahs-Lorenc, Career Counselor, Author
Do you celebrate your life? Are you happy? I help change lives through career counseling, workshops, bereavement support and self-published books for a cause. I am here to support, motivate, and celebrate YOU!!!
Susan Capurso, an End-of-Life Doula and Lisa Strahs-Lorenc, a Bereavement Support Specialist explore the topic of what options you have for what to do with your body after you die.
This topic was inspired by a presentation by Rod Broker who presented a very entertaining and educational discussion in Florida at the Humanist Club at the Villages. With light humor and great slides, he educated all of us about many alternatives after death. Many kinds of burials, cremation and creative options for ashes are presented.
Though some may feel that this is morbid, others have strong feelings about what they would like their families or friends to do with their bodies after they die. Instead of families trying to decide after the fact, the planning and our wishes are made clear without emotional stress or burden. Planning is sometimes an essential part of closure and moving on.
Listen and watch with an open mind, and please share with others who may benefit.
