Beyond the Broncos participants model employees with new employers

Seven Beyond the Broncos participants have hit the ground running in their new roles with Spotless at the Gallipolli Barracks in the Brisbane suburb of Enoggera.

Beyond the Broncos participants have joined Spotless in a range of roles as groundstaff, cleaners and in administration support.

Stephen Marazes, EMOS Manager for Spotless has been very pleased with his newest recruits saying, “the Beyond the Broncos have assisted us in recruiting young Indigenous talent from across their network of recent school leavers “

The Beyond the Broncos is a community initiative of the Brisbane Broncos, that provides education and pathway support to Young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

Beyond the Broncos assist young Indigenous people break into the job market and provide ongoing mentoring support to participants to ensure their longevity in their new roles.
