Beyond Blockchain, Empowering Communities: A Recap of the 6th Annual Black Blockchain Summit
Over the past week, we've had an incredible time connecting with our community in Washington DC at Howard University during the 6th Annual Black Blockchain Summit , where AfriBlocks proudly serves as a co-host.
This yearly convergence of brilliant minds and passionate hearts was more than just a forum for discussing blockchain technology. It was a testament to the vision of empowerment, a showcase of unity, and a promise of progress.
Our activities included Dr. Garry.L Harris opening reception on Capitol Hill and an engaging roundtable discussion focusing on peaceful tech solutions to address violence in our communities, leveraging the power of Big Data, Machine Learning, and Blockchain.
We went on to collaborate on an exciting pitch competition with MaC Venture Capital , highlighting hardworking founders shaping the future.
Finally closing off with a performance from Hip Hop group dead Prez, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who played a pivotal role in making this event a reality.
It was a pleasure for me to reconnect with our customers, investors, and community members as we continue our mission to create solutions through top tech and design freelance talent from across the African Diaspora.
AfriBlocks serves as the bridge that transforms the aspirations discussed at the summit into tangible progress. As we go back to build solutions, rest assured that AfriBlocks has the talent and expertise to turn those solutions into transformative realities.
