Beware of the rise in Quishing
We're now 3 months into 2024 and we've already seen many changes to the cyber landscape. In this issue, we're highlighting everything from our recent security event to 5 tips to use in Microsoft Word, and alerting you about the rise in a malicious scam.
1) Keeping your colleagues aware about the rise in Quishing ??
Phishing through QR codes (also known as Quishing), is increasing in 2024.
It's essential to remind your colleagues to be cautious and only scan QR codes from trusted sources. Make sure the QR code has not been tampered with, as cyber criminals are disguising trusted QR codes with a malicious version of their own, leading unsuspecting individuals to input their details into fraudulent sites.

Copying and pasting a lot of details from one document to another can occasionally become a laborious task. However, there's a quick solution to streamline this process for you. After copying all of your desired content (Ctrl + C), simply go to your destination document and hit the Windows + V shortcut. This triggers a clipboard display showing all of your recent copies, so that you can then quickly paste them without having to divert from one document to another!
