BEWARE: New Linkedin feature is not yet fully baked!

Linkedin recently made a feature change that invites admins of a company page to engage with trending posts AS THE COMPANY. You have to be invited to engage, through the notifications tab on your personal LinkedIn (see below sample).

If you are the admin of a Linkedin company page, any one of you could see a notification like this.

 Unfortunately Linkedin have NOT fully developed this new feature. The only way back into the conversation is through the original invite, which if you cannot access it, means you can no longer engage as the page. If someone likes or says something that needs editing or undoing, there is no way to know a) who did it, especially if there are multiple page admins, or b) how to undo it.

There is no way from the company profile to see a history of these engagements, or participate in a conversation "as company page."

We often test new Linkedin features on our own pages, before advising clients to use them. In this instance we would advise extreme caution. Linkedin have not FULLY BAKED this idea and it needs some work!
