While spending time and energy on socio-economic pursuits, patterns emerge that are reminiscent of the formation of particles.?A collision between any particle and its anti-particle leads to their mutual annihilation, giving rise to new constellations. This is usually the result of a repetitive continuation. Our coexistence is always accompanied by surrounding circumstances that influence the outcome of pursued tasks.? What we see is not what it is. We take what we see for granted, ignoring the covert indicators that underpin what it is that we see. Over time, some covert elements become apparent, and we get a better understanding. ?Paying disproportionate attention to impressions can become misleading and time-consuming. Our evaluation metrics stem from what we are aware of. We tend to like what most of the people in our community like and we tend to reject what is foreign to us. The entire socio-economic system follows these indications. Making products and services available based on popularity. And because addressing the popular likes generates an immediate response, there are more similar products and services than original, untested inventions. Examining confrontations with reality. ?A driving force behind making arbitrary decisions is the peoples’ need to believe in the unlikely. We are utilizing the available resources the way we currently understand their functionality to be. But under different circumstances, these resources may function differently. Making presumptions based on past experiences become irrelevant. Putting it bluntly, significant progress cannot be achieved without engaging in exploratory expeditions of the mind.?If the economic trajectory is anything like the thermodynamic asymmetry, it is safe to assume that digression will follow a socio-economic modification, which would subsequently morph into a new constellation. We are not meant to have all the answers but we can keep applying metacognition and correlate inconsistencies to find new solutions. ?The venture to the unknown. The unknown supersedes the known by an infinity. That creates uncertainty and doubt about virtually everything. It also motivates people to search for viable alternatives. As the circle of the known widens, ?we gain a better understanding of reality. It enables us to verify new findings quicker and more conclusive. However, every practice loses its effectiveness and needs to be reinvented.??? The implication of searching for answers in the vast unknown. Every entrepreneur needs to engage in (α) improvement activities, of the current situation by exploring available alternatives. While such augmentations may suffice, for a short time, they would not provide a platform that differentiates itself significantly from the competition. Engaging the multi-personalities within ourselves, to pursue (β) type explorations.?? Indifference to the (α) improvements, the (β) activity is a search for innovations beyond the known. Exploring the realms of the unknown will occasionally fail, but in some cases, it will reveal applicable insights. These revelations may lead to advancements that supersede everything that exists. To make the (β) exploration effective it is recommended to have a clearly defined long-term cause while at the same time dispensing of predispositions. ? Why bother taking risks? Since the unknown outnumbers the known by an infinity, the prospect of finding new insights is high. The challenge is to stay resilient and despite the occasional failure continue making many correlations with particles that seem to have not much in common. The potential of finding a revolutionary new idea is high. The benefits of a unique idea will be rewarding in many ways. Companies that systematically promote (β) type exploration, will retain a competitive advantage. When developing ideas becomes a corporate policy, it indicates management’s long-term commitment to advancement. ? The confrontations between matter and antimatter during the search and discovery journey. The (β) type search and discovery journey for new ideas, is in some ways similar to experimental physics where the hypothesis of unverified indicators is the driving force to search for a finite answer.?However while most of us are craving for finite solutions, the entire universe of options is guided by thermodynamic asymmetry.
