Between Blame and Growth: Which Story Are You Choosing to Tell?

Between Blame and Growth: Which Story Are You Choosing to Tell?

I keep telling my team storytelling is one art form everyone should know.

But what about the stories told at workspaces? Like team huddles where people craft narratives like defense lawyers, not collaborative professionals.?

Victim language is the rotten apple that doesn't just spoil the bunch - but the entire organizational ecosystem.

I've watched countless professionals turn communication into a survival game. But here’s what they forget- your narrative isn't a shield. It's a bridge.?

How do you build that bridge?

Simple. Shift your perspective:

From "Why me?" to "what's next?"

“This is unfair,” to “What can I learn from this?”

“It’s not my fault,” to “I’m responsible for what happens next.”

You know what truly lights me up? Those rare professionals who don't just climb mountains, but build ladders for their entire team.?

Your story isn't about your narrative alone, it decides the fate of your entire team.

So, which story are you choosing to tell today?
