Research by Acquia has found a gap between consumers’ experience of brands and marketers’ confidence in their own branding. Although 87% of marketers are confident, they can meet the level of experience their target market expects, 53% of consumers feel brands fail to meet their standards.
According to Clicktale’s Defining Digital Experience report, 73% of their respondents say they are currently unable to create truly seamless, joined-up experiences across different digital touchpoints, despite being committed to delivering improved digital experiences.
A well-designed user interface could raise your website’s conversion rate by up to?a?200%, and a better UX design could yield conversion rates?up?to 400% according to Forrester.
When we are working with products where feeble user experience leads to business losses, we need to discover the challenges, and ask questions, why the user experience state is like this.
Many product owners are aware of these challenges and are trying hard to address these challenges. But not yet getting the benefit. It requires multiple types of skills and competencies to become better user researchers.
User experience is highly collaborative work, mainly dealing with people. If we do not have capable team members who are good at collaborating with others, we will not be able to fulfill the outcome. Better equipped, the person will be someone who has knowledge of?psychology,?Statistics, design expertise.

2 年What are the first few questions you will ask? Kamal: How easy or difficult is it to quickly serve customers by understanding what they need and showing them in the shortest possible time. What are the first few steps that come to your mind?? Kamal: Process to show saris and keep them back easily and immediately after showing them such that the customers also get to see what they liked and at the same time it does not look cluttered What will be your proposal? Kamal: Catalogue and categorize based on some rules such that easy to show to the customers, keep aside the ones that the customers like and put the rest back immediately so that it becomes easier to show saris to the next customers, at the same time, the place does not look cluttered What problem will your proposal address? Kamal: Clutter, easy to find and show to the customers, serve the next customers easily Without your proposal, what loss?business?is making? Kamal: Confusing the customers as well as the salespeople, not easy to find and show to the next set of customers, With your proposal, what will be the business outcome? Kamal: Customers get to see what they want faster, salespeople save time searching, more customers can be served in the given span of time.
