Better than a Win the Team

The setting gave Coughlin (Former NY Giants Coach) an opportunity to once again preach his philosophy of football.

“In professional football, the goal is to win. It’s a bottom-line profession,” Coughlin said, his voice rising in intensity. “My contention is there’s a higher ground, there’s a greater purpose, and that purpose is team. … Winning the right way is a very important thing to me and all of our coaches. That’s what motivates and inspires me.”
