Better Know a Skydog: Angela Krempel

Since joining Skydog in June, Angela has effortlessly transitioned from the world of nonprofits into the world of tech startups and finance. She's been instrumental in our growth, leading some of our biggest clients and most complex projects - from brand new implementations for startups to big workflow changes for a publicly-traded company.

Always at the center of any team-bonding activity, Angela brings a warm, welcoming, and fun energy to our team, leading our efforts to define our Core Values, organizing events, and providing our highly-anticipated weekly icebreaker prompts. Tell us about yourself!

I was born and raised in the California Bay Area.?Learned how to be an adult in Cincinnati, Ohio. But I am happy to call Ridgewood, New Jersey home with my wonderful husband (Jacob) and three girls (Lauren, Ellie and Emma).?Recently, we added an adorable puppy to our family (Lily), who fits in perfectly with her sweet charm and stubborn?demeanor.??

What were you doing before working at Skydog?

I've always worked in the?nonprofit world and I?still have a huge place in my heart for fundraising and missions.?Moving away from that world to consulting brought out a lot of excitement and nervousness - a good friend of mine reminded me that "when you're nervous and excited, it?is actually called 'thrilling'".?And that's what Skydog Ops has been - it's been thrilling!

What are some of your biggest passions outside of work?

The three "F"s - Family, Friends, and Faith.?You'll frequently find me sitting on the porch or the kitchen with a glass of wine chatting with friends while kids are running and playing.?Many of those friends are from our local parish, of which we are very active.

What do you like most about your role?

Easy - the people.?I work with some incredibly smart, funny people who help make a job not feel like a job at all.?Plus all our clients are world class folks.??

What has been your biggest accomplishment?

My kids are still growing into their personalities but seeing them turn into funny, smart and caring people has been the greatest gift.?I cannot take all the credit for that - my husband shares equally in raising some good natured kids.

What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

I take pride that I know all the words to every *NSYNC song and can do Carlton (from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) signature dance.
