BETTER FALLING DOWN THAN IN LOVE

By this time Gedero was unconscious due to heavy consumption of alcohol from the local breweries.The questions came into the pedestrians along that path because rubbish was equally doing nothing since Gedero was not even responding.

Some could be heard saying that Gedero was a coolkid before but since he was rejected by his fiance, alcohol became his solution. Other theories say that the fact that his contract was terminated due to recklessness.

Gedero relieves his stress through Mratina. While rubbish advises his fellow not to fall in love anymore instead it is quite okay for him to take alcohol and fall down.

Rubbish was once heard speaking to Gedero, "Gedero my brother, men are not to be heartbroken at even a point in life, we are worriers and therefore fighters." Gedero drunk word by word from rubbish and he continued, for you not to have broken heart never dare to taste love, love kills, builds, and hurts more than me a drunken man when I fall in a ditch. Don't fear to drink for it our culture to drink but is it our culture to love?

That day the two were found seated under a mango tree laughing and cheering while chatting. I think they were all sober that day. Because if Gedero could have drunk then no way he could be awake. He could be either in a ditch or a sleep under the same tree because it is just outside his hut thatched with makuti on one side and the other with grasses.

Also rubbish had dressed officially like his days when he used to work in the high Court. He had some newspapers and a small book I think it that law book that he usually refers to it when caught by some municipal police over excess consumption of alcohol.

Rubbish in the area is known as a no nonsense guy, he has a master of the law by head and hence even the police at a point could follow him for consultation. In other words rubbish was one of the learned fools that existed on earth.

Gedero used to only listen to him and not any other person since he lost his job and after the heartbreak from Meliniac her crush who had turned into being lovers.

History remembers the love that Gedero had for his lover. He could be found cooking, washing, moping, and doing all what the culture had accorded it for the Ladies. If he could delay in any of the chores;

Meliniac could be heard threatening Gedero that she is packing to leave the place and so Gedero could do even faster in fear of loneliness. One day Gedero came back from his job and found his love at the sitting room ready for conjugal rights. Gedero was tired from job and hence he intended to have a rest.

The lady shouted to Gedero that no resting unless she is satisfied. And if he cannot do it the she is going away. Gedero had nothing to do but to fall in the trap. Four hours later Gedero woke up and found a letter on the sofa that he was with his missing fiance- Meliniac. It had sharp words that we guess they changed Gedero's life.

Dear lovely one,

I know you will be shocked when you find me gone even after doing all the goodies to me. All the days with you I was learning how to love and be loved and kudos to you my former love for indeed you are a good teacher.

The recent game you have tried but it was not perfect like I had prepared myself for. You slept quite early and you left me higher therefore am just in the neighborhood House if you still love me pull up your game I will be back but for now you are a kid come for practice. Yours dearly, Meliniac.

Gedero was left perplexed for he regretted why he slept in the middle of the final. He also worried where his lover had actually gone to because only him lived in a hut the rest had houses.

Later during the night Gedero had to counter check his properties and he discovered he was only left with his initial poverty property the rest had been taken by Meliniac. He was left with the sofa and a stool plus the mattress. Gedero couldn't believe his eyes anymore and hence he had to re-read the letter one again. To find if the direction to Meliniac was in it. He did this reading till dawn.

That morning Gedero forgot he was an employee and he was to report for the normal routine. Gedero went door to door to see if Meliniac was in those houses and nowhere he found her.

While still in search Gedero was given another letter by his friend Rubbish. As usual Gedero did not hesitate anything coming from rubbish and therefore he opened it and his eyes turned red to see that he was fired for not attending to his duty. He talked to rubbish to see if he could be helped only to get more pain through facts. He was told that Meliniac was found in the five star hotel in the island with a man.That day of Meliniac disappearance, during the morning hours a man approached Gederos home while he was away and spent some time inside the hut with Meliniac. Some laughter sounds could be heard and at s point even sounds of pain could be heard.

And the same man came to pick Meliniac in the night hours when Gedero failed to work.This shows that her disappearance was planned before Gedero knew it.Gedero in other words he was in love with a master planner of betrayal. Or a heartbreaker. All this was leaked to Gedero by Rubbish who witnessed.
