BetMGM secures North Carolina market access with Charlotte Motor Speedway.
BetMGM and Charlotte Motor Speedway have formed an agreement to introduce BetMGMs online sports betting platform in North Carolina once sports betting is legalised in the state. The partnership aims to provide a responsible gaming product benefiting state agencies and publicly funded colleges, while also supporting a major event fund to attract national sports and entertainment events, boosting tourism and economic impact.
BetMGM expects to launch its online sports betting offering once North Carolina’s regulated market starts, which is anticipated in the first quarter of 2024. CEO of BetMGM, Adam Greenblatt, expressed excitement about tapping into North Carolina’s vibrant sports environment and meeting the demand for entertainment in the state.
