Coinciding with the launch of our brand anthem, we discuss the role adventure plays in our agency on a day-to-day basis and its impact on our craft—shaping our work, our hiring practices, and our overall culture as a company. Read this story to learn more about this prevailing philosophy, and browse our About page to see where we’re headed.

Cultural insights and industry perspectives from the Grizzly team.?
Pinterest takes bold action to support user wellness, and other brands should take notes.
Following a company ban on ads containing weight loss language and imagery, Pinterest has released a Global Body Neutrality Report, sharing that searches on its platform containing “weight loss” are down by 20%. Companies would be wise to emulate Pinterest’s dedication to its users’ well-being, as brands that showcase their values through tangible and impactful action will ultimately win in the minds of consumers and the betterment of the world at large.
The lines between streaming and cable continue to blur as Netflix plans out its ad-supported tier.
As Netflix prepares to launch its ad-supported tier, the streaming giant has selected Microsoft as its partner for all advertising needs. Netflix’s shift towards this tiered subscription format represents a trend of streaming services behaving more like individual channels, reminiscent of cable TV, than the channel-agnostic content platforms they once represented. Going forward, we’ll likely also see a prioritization of original content and partnerships between subscription services to maximize value for users with these new subscription styles.
Users will expect more from their content as TikTok launches new curation tools.
TikTok has introduced new methods of curating appropriate, safe, and interesting content for individual users through word and hashtag filters, diversification of topics within users’ feeds, and content organization based on thematic maturity. This emphasis on content curation will likely expand to marketing through both ad placement and changing user expectations, and brands should respond to this by ensuring their content is refreshing, engaging, and uniquely catered to their consumers.
