Beta Alpha Psi Gives Back - Daniel Cavallo

For the past 2 years, I have been a volunteer firefighter for the Rockville Centre Fire Department. During my time as a volunteer firefighter, I have put in countless hours of training for all different scenarios that could possibly occur. I recently attended a training event where we had the opportunity to get hands-on experience with a live car fire. This training session enabled my crew and me to gain a better understanding of how to operate most efficiently in the case of a car fire, which is a common occurrence in my town. This volunteer experience and my overall experience as a volunteer firefighter has been extremely rewarding. Overall, this training was a wonderful experience and made me a lot more confident in my ability to combat a car fire.
