Best Zoom Alternatives for Video Conferencing

If you are worry about the recent privacy & security issue of Zoom, there are other video conferencing apps you can use for FREE now. Here are some of the highly recommended video conferencing apps:

1. SKYPE MEET NOW - Microsoft has just recently add in Meet Now function to Skype due to high demand for video conferencing during this period of time. It has quite similar function as Zoom and now you don't have to register Skype to use it. It can allow you to share screen too. Try it out.
2. CISCO WEBEX - Webex is one the earliest video conferencing software since the 90s. It should be one of the most stable software. Most people think that Webex is expensive because it is used in a lot of big corporations but they do have a FREE plan that can cater up to 100 participants. And, for now their FREE plan has not 40 minute time limit like Zoom.
3. GOOGLE HANGOUT - Hangout is Google's video conferencing tool and used to have limit of 10 participants but now they have open up their premium paid features FREE until July 1st to help schools and businesses operating remotely. So, now you can have up to 250 participants per call.

These are the more established video conferencing that I would recommended. And, if you are just doing small video conferencing meetings without having to use screen sharing function, you can always used the video group call of whatsapp, wechat and one of the top office productivity app from Alibaba - Dingtalk (note: it actually have screen-sharing function and "slack" functions built-in).
